The remixes keep coming. This one’s from SF’s Birds & Batteries, an immensely talented band who are, in my estimation, about to get kinda famous. The play a hybrid amalgam of classic cosmic country, Gram Parsons-style, and Eno-y electro sounds… it’s unlikely, but it works incredibly well, and singer (and fellow bearded Brookline, MA kid) Mike Sempert has a beautiful, odd voice that i find rather addicting. Their new album, Panorama, should be out soon.

Birds & Batteries’ remix of our song “Heat & Hot Water” turns the song inside-out, reassembling the pieces into an almost MJ-ish funk beast. It’s totally nutso, and i love it. Enjoy…
