Our new EP is all wrapped up and ready for a summertime release. In the meantime, here I am singing a new song, “Comfort”, on LeRascals’ plastic-wrapped mattress. A piñata watches quietly from the sidelines.
Was poking around in the vaults and came upon Ghostly International artist Shigeto’s previously unreleased 2010 remix of “High Heels.” Stumbly, psychedelic, head-nodding fun. Can’t believe we forgot to put this out at the time! Enjoy it now with our compliments.
We’re beyond proud to announce the IFC premiere of the official video for “Heat & Hot Water”, the single from last year’s Summer Skills record. The clip was directed by Andrew Droz Palermo—the guy behind all of White Rabbits’ vids—and stars Brooke Underwood and Wesley Powell. We shot it in beautiful, scenic Columbia, MO, and I play the devil… sort of. Anyway, watch, enjoy, and share with your friends if you’re so inclined…
Way back in SXSW 2011, Matty and I sang a song while being wheeled around Austin’s East Side on a pedicab, and the results are pretty grand. Thanks to Jack Ferry for directing and moral support, and pardon my hangover-voice…
