Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 Sweet poster for the show by Mr. Gerry Mak:
Saturday, July 5th, 2008 Happy day after your birthday, America! So here's what's happening: After playing my songs by myself for way, way too long, I've finally put a band together. It's got members of three of my favorite bands in the world -- Get Him Eat Him (Jeff Wood, drums; Joe Posner, bass), Frances (Brian Betancourt, guitar), and Harlem Shakes (Kendrick Strauch, keyboards; Me, guitar and singing). We'll be playing a bigass RECORD RELEASE PARTY on Tuesday, July 29th at Union Pool in Williamsburg. This will be your first and possibly only time to see ARMS as a 'real' band, people, so let's pop some fucking champagne and play some sadass pop songs. (It's also a nice way to pick up a hard copy of the CD, which isn't easy to come by in the old US of A.) Monday, June 30th, 2008 The album, KIDS AFLAME, is now available pretty everywhere in both the UK and the INTERNET. There are a few links below, but if you just GOOGLE SEARCH that bad boy you should come across some means of attaining the damn thing. Sunday, June 15th, 2008 So, even though the record isn't "technically" out until June 30th, KIDS AFLAME is now available for download at ITUNES and EMUSIC (along with a few of the other usual digital-type sites). You can also buy it in real, gorgeous physical form from the MELODIC SHOP online store. (Leah Beeferman did the art, she rules it.) Go! Buy! Listen! Enjoy! This is a very exciting day. Thursday, May 29th, 2008 Save that date: ARMS' first full-length record, KIDS AFLAME, comes out on June 30th, 2008 on melodic records. In the meantime, check out a few songs from the album on ARMS' MYSPACE PAGE.
